I'm home. Kennel croup hit me sometime Sunday, the dry air irritating my trachea. It got progressively worse to mess with my sinuses. Well, late Wednesday night, Phil decided we were going to Tuscaloosa on Thursday. We got up thursday morning, called our bosses to let them know we were leaving. It took us until noon to pack and run some errands around town. We went to Tuscaloosa by way of Birmingham and stopped at Taj India for an Indian buffet lunch. I'm not sure how much I'll be online in the next few days. Phil's mom called him at work today to let him know that his dad had declined severely. On the weekend, the estimation was 2 months. Today, the word is any time now. Liver function has stopped. Red blood count is WAY down, so that his body is basically suffocating. He's tired, and wants it ( Read more... )

Phil's mom called this morning. His dad is not doing well. His white cell count is WAY up. He didn't get into the experimental program because of it. Liver function has pretty much stopped. Not much time left.

Our neighborhood is going to hell. On Friday, 4 houses in my block, including mine, were broken into. They didn't actually get in our house this time, they just broke a window.
